Originally built in the 1850s by Gold Rush Pioneer Colonel Frederick A. Bee, who later founded The Pony Express in California and the Bee Telegraph Company, this Victorian mansion was enlarged in 1889 into a 16-room estate that continues its historic legacy. The Placerville venue combines original Victorian architecture with modern enhancements, featuring a multi-gabled roof, wrap-around porch, and authentic stained glass windows.
