Choosing the Perfect Wedding Linens & Color Schemes: Expert Advice

Choosing color schemes, styles and a theme for your wedding is a big deal. Whether you picked out your colors when you were five or you don’t even know where to start, we have some advice that will help keep you on track:

• Let your venue inspire you. Think about what colors and styles fit the most naturally with your Wedgewood Weddings ceremony site and reception hall.
• Keep it simple Great Gatsby theme–so elegant! Superhero theme–lots of fun! Nautical theme–adorably preppy! A Great Gatsby superhero on a boat? Perhaps not so cute but you do you.
• Consider neutrals Not everything in your scheme will be in your exact colors, so consider implementing neutral colors into the background. You may love purple, but purple and ivory have a very different feel than purple and gray, or purple and black. Neutral colors can make the primary colors of your wedding palette pop!
• Commit!  Weddings are all about making a commitment, so stay true to your original vision. Once you’ve selected your theme and colors, stop researching and start perfecting. The final look of your wedding will be a lot more unified if you aren’t constantly changing your mind about what you want. So, commit.
