Meet the Team at Winchester Vista

Meet the team at our newest Wedgewood Weddings venue - Winchester Vista! Jordan and Hannah, our incredible leadership team onsite, share their professional backgrounds, their favorite features of Winchester Vista, and their top advice for nearlyweds planning their big day. With these two veteran wedding planners at the helm, we're confident that future events at this beautiful Meadow Vista location will be awe-inspiring and effortless.

Our newest venue, Winchester Vista in Meadow Vista, CA is breathtakingly beautiful, and behind every venue is an incredible team that brings it to life. The fearless leader, Jordan Werth, is organized, charming, and has a wealth of event experience in the Sacramento area. Supporting her is Hannah Wall, who has trained venue teams all across Northern California. Together they are building a culture of joyful event planning and seamless execution. Jordan and Hannah sat down with us to share why they love this gorgeous estate and what they see for the future of events at Winchester Estate.

Jordan, General Manager at Winchester Vista, has been with Wedgewood Weddings for nearly 5 years, starting as a Banquet Captain and progressing to Event Coordinator, Sales Assistant, and finally, General Manager. She previously worked at Sequoia Mansion in Placerville and Sterling Hotel in downtown Sacramento and knows exactly what it takes to make a venue operate flawlessly. Her leadership at Winchester Vista has already made an incredible impact.

Jordan, what do you love most about Winchester Vista?

The scenery, it’s so beautiful! I think couples would love how quiet the venue is and how naturally picturesque it is! We have so many beautiful venues in the greater Sacramento area, but this one really feels like you're at a peaceful nature retreat.

What is your favorite photo location onsite?

The ceremony site, hands down. It’s breathtaking! The view oversees the Foresthill area and has so much natural beauty, it’s incredible! The sunsets here are especially extraordinary and just wash the entire venue in a stunning gold/pink hue. I just can't get enough.

Describe your leadership style.

I like to support my team by coaching them to be the best version of themselves and to get them where they want to be in their careers! It’s definitely my favorite part of my job, being able to develop and grow my team!

Let's get to know you a liittle. What's your background?

I got my B.S. degree at San Diego State in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Meetings & Events Management in 2017. While in school, I worked for the Event Operations Crew for the San Diego Padres, and I also worked as a Front Desk Agent for the West Inn and Suites hotel. Shortly after graduating, I did an internship with the Walt Disney Company in Anaheim, and once that was completed, that was when I moved up to Northern California to start my career with Wedgewood Weddings!

What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?

Truth be told, I can be very "Type A" at times, haha, which certainly has its advantages in a hospitality career. I like to be very organized and have everything labeled and with a dedicated home. I love checklists and checking tasks off a list too. I've definitely found that my organizational skills and detail-oriented personality help with time management, prioritization, and ultimately being someone clients can rely on.

What wedding trends do you love the most?

I personally love weddings that have a theme that’s unique to their love story. For example, I had one couple who got married the week of Halloween and they both loved the dark/gothy/moody style of weddings. They actually rented a hearse for wedding pictures. It was incredibly unique and different, complemented their style SO well, and was a total hit!

Hannah is our Regional Sales Trainer for all of Northern California and has been with Wedgewood Weddings since 2018. Much like Jordan, she's worked her way up from Banquet Captain to General Manager at Sterling Hotel in Sacramento, where she discovered her love and talent for training. Now she is responsible for training teams across all of NorCal from San Jose to Sacramento. With her home base at Winchester Vista, she gets to work 1:1 with clients and simultaneously help train the next chapter of expert wedding professionals.

Hannah, let's get to know you a bit! Tell us more about you.

I am born and raised in Northern California, so I may be a bit biased, but I absolutely love living here. This region offers so many things to do within only a few hours. When I am not working, I love to hang out and play with my dog, Eevee! Most of the time we like to visit all the dog-friendly wineries and breweries in Northern California.

What do you love most about this venue and location?

Without a doubt, it would be the views that it offers! You can’t beat the stunning backdrop of the canyon behind your ceremony and reception. It's also in such a perfect location - halfway between Grass Valley and Placerville, close to the adorable town of Auburn, and less than an hour from Sacramento. It's truly the best of all worlds!

Are there any client traits you love because it makes working together so easy?

I love working with clients that have a specific vision but are still open to the coordinator’s suggestions. So I guess I particularly appreciate clients who are flexible, and yet still involved and excited. The planning process is always so smooth when a client trusts my expertise to help their vision come to life.

What’s one thing that surprised you about working at Wedgewood Weddings?

I was surprised by how much support I have! We are lucky to have so many other venues in the area to lean on if we run into any difficulties. More often than not, one of our other sister properties is able to help out when needed. It really makes such a huge difference in what we do, but also our ability to always support our clients, no matter what might happen.

What advice do you have for couples on their wedding day?

Please do not sweat the small stuff! This is what your coordinator is there for on your big day.

What is your favorite photo location onsite?

Just like Jordan, my favorite is actually our ceremony site! Not only is it a gorgeous backdrop for your ceremony, but it is a great spot for couples and wedding party shots, especially at sunset. Of course, we have many other gorgeous spots to choose from, but this spot is a favorite by all for good reason!
