As spring turns to summer, and summer into fall, the colors of each season can be a fantastic guide when it comes to choosing your own wedding’s color theme. From a variety of soft pinks to blues to a variation of vibrant rainbow colors, the possibilities are endless. We’ve had the chance to witness a number of beautiful color variations at all of the weddings so let’s take a look at what colors go best with each season.

Spring

With green everywhere, flowers, and trees in bloom, spring has a beautiful color palette all on its own. As you do already have many other colors to compete with, sticking with pinks, soft blues, sage green, yellows, and cream color schemes for your wedding will bring everything together.

Soft Blue

Steal color inspiration from Enyo and Etienne's spring wedding. They used soft blue hues in all of the right ways during their nuptials at Palm Valley by Wedgewood Weddings. With a combination of soft blue, grey, tan, and white, their wedding day colors paired beautifully with the greenery of this Arizona venue. Additionally, white and cream-colored roses paired with eucalyptus set the rest of this gorgeous spring day scene.

Lilac

It's easy to understand why lilac would be a popular choice for a spring wedding with so many flowers in bloom. At San Clemente Shore by Wedgewood Weddings, Kristen went with a pink and lilac color scheme for her wedding and let the colorful blooms of her wedding flowers steal the show. From lavender hues to the softest pastel pink, Kristen's wedding colors pop but don't overwhelm the scene with her varying hues. Additionally, San Clemente Shore by Wedgewood Weddings has beautiful and scenic greenery and Spanish-style architecture that compliments these gorgeous colors wonderfully.

Sage Green

As you keep reading, you'll notice that green is a popular wedding color choice. In spring though, sage green takes center stage, and Sienna and Brandon's beautiful April wedding at Aliso Viejo by Wedgewood Weddings is the first to make the list! The superstar of this wedding is eucalyptus; from the seating chart to the groomsmen's boutonnieres, it ties the whole look together alongside the myriad white roses and gold accents for an overall classic look at this elegant estate wedding.

Summer

With the warm summer sun comes a variety of fun color palettes to choose from. Feeling that watermelon sugar high with vibrant pinks, greens, and blues? Or perhaps you want to choose softer pastel tones to compliment the greenery of your venue choice? Let's take a look at the colors that some of our couples chose for their summer day nuptials.

Raspberry Pink

iWe love the various shades of pink used at this beautiful summer wedding at the Hacienda de las Flores by Wedgewood Weddings! The rich raspberry pink is complemented by various shades of pink and gives us all the feelings of summer. With a summer wedding like this one, using your favorite desserts as inspiration for your color theme can help guide your decision. Fall

Burnt Orange

From pumpkin spice lattes to cozy sweaters, it's easy to get caught up in all of the Fall vibes once September and October roll around. Orange is, of course, the most popular fall color and the burnt orange hue is the perfect match for a true fall wedding. Madison and Tyler's fall wedding at Granite Rose by Wedgewood Weddings in New Hampshire had the ideal tones to go with their Halloween-inspired wedding. Burnt orange, deep red, and deep shades of green all meld together to provide a variety of warm and cozy hues throughout this gorgeous wedding. If you're loving orange for your fall wedding, stick with earth tones like yellow, brown, and green to help inspire your fall-themed palette.

Forest Green

We said green would make quite the appearance, didn't we? Well, when it comes to the green, natural colors that come in the summer months, forest green is hard to deny. Jeff and Jeff's wedding at Ken Caryl Vista by Wedgewood Weddings used the surroundings of this gorgeous Denver venue to develop their color palette. Light grey, white, tan, and blush pink balance out the forest green and continue the natural outdoor look throughout their wedding.

Navy Blue

Take a walk on the softer side of the color spectrum with blush pink for your fall wedding. Blush pink is a fantastic color for any season but paired with

Winter

Shades of Blue

Anna’s wedding at Lindsay Grove by Wedgewood Weddings in Mesa, Arizona! Her color choice of soft blue is perfectly complemented by her white and cream-colored floral arrangement. Within her bouquets, she opted for white and cream-colored roses and eucalyptus that add a touch of blueish greenery to tie the whole look together. Additionally, she carried the color scheme of white flowers to her reception florals and her florist added white hydrangeas that had a bit of soft blue just on the tips of the petals. The groomsmen sported navy blue tuxedos that paired seamlessly with the soft blue bridesmaid dresses.

Regional Choices

With various venues to choose from at Wedgewood Weddings, we know your color palette may also change. Did you choose navy blue for summer or lilac for winter? Just remember to go with your gut when picking your wedding colors. With certain venues, you will experience seasons at different times. Snow will often occur during autumn for many of our Colorado locations, like Tapestry House by Wedgewood Weddings, while in Southern California or Arizona, fall colors arrive closer to winter time. Look to your wedding experts at your venue for guidance and inspiration as they will know best as to what seasonal changes will occur when making it easier for you to plan on your wedding date or color palette. Looking at our Wedgewood Weddings Wedding venues in particular, let's take a quick look at general seasonal changes.

Arizona

Springtime weather comes to Arizona in late February and runs through till early May. With a lot of rain in January and February, March and April are popular times for spring weddings. Moving into May, the temperature does start to rise a bit and with it come beautiful golden hues and long summer days. If the temperature is a concern, our Arizona venues do have indoor reception options to keep you and your guests cool. As the state moves into October, the weather starts to cool off and maintains springlike temperatures through December,
